Getting Your Girlfriend Back: How to Woo the One You Want
Have you recently, or not so recently, suffered a break up with a girlfriend for whom you care deeply you can’t think of anything but getting your girlfriend back? Do you feel as though you simply can’t get past the heartache? Have you done everything you can think of to win her back? Sometimes, the best you can do is to stand back and re-evaluate your tactics, and perhaps change course.
Getting your girlfriend back is a matter of understanding a few simple rules. The first one being, men and women fall in love in different ways. It’s been said, often, that men love those who they are attracted while women are attracted to those they love. Also, men and women enact love in different manners. Men are more visual, thus the multi-million dollar industries of men’s magazines and women’s lingerie.
Women, on the other hand, prefer gestures, large or small, to show affection. Women also want to feel they matter to the person they love, that their loved one will walk over hot coals to help them. If you’ve somehow lost the one you love and want to win her back, take from a woman, there’s a way to do it but you have to think like a woman thinks, which means, with your heart, not your head.
If you want to get your girlfriend back, here are some simple tips to aid your quest:
Women really do love flowers, however, when buying flowers, remember one thing: location, location, location. Where you buy the flowers is irrelevant, where you have them delivered, though, is another matter. While women always love getting flowers, they also want their friends to know they got them. If your girlfriend works at a place where flower delivery is not intrusive to the workplace, then have them delivered there. This way, she has the delight of receiving the aforementioned flowers but she also has the opportunity to have all her friends and co-workers “ooh” and “aah” over them, becoming the envy of all who surround her; she becomes master of all she surveys.
This next tip is an extension of the previous one, but it’s important. Find out early what her favorite flower is. While roses are beautiful always, it can become cliché. My favorite flower is the Star Gazer Lily and my husband will buy them for me often, but not so much they become boring. He’ll mix it up sometimes with Gardenias, Jasmine or Sunflowers. Fragrant is always good, no matter the flower. See, most flowers, when in full bloom, but just before dying, become their most fragrant and walking past them is a joy.
Another tip, though, is to save the Red Roses until you truly have strong feelings for your girlfriend. Red roses signify love to ALL women and sending them early can send the wrong message. If you must send Roses, consider peach or pink, both beautiful and neutral colors.
Finally, when planning any events in an attempt to woo her back, don’t go with what you like because it usually involves something physical, like cuddling or hugging. Women love to be romanced, whether it’s a romantic dinner on the balcony of a candle-lit restaurant or taking a hand-in-hand walk on a crisp autumn evening. If you really want to get your girlfriend back, cook her a romantic candle-lit meal yourself, ending it with a decadent dessert of some kind. In short, women want to be made to feel special.
