Just because you broke up with him doesn’t mean you can’t get your ex boyfriend back - and keep him! Perhaps they think they want him back so badly that they’ll do anything to make it happen. But this is simply not sustainable for the long run. You can’t go through the rest of your relationship that way, and if you try to reconnect while setting that tone, there will be a point when the fairytale comes to an end… again. Being able to clearly express what you need and want when you are ready to get back with your ex is absolutely necessary to successfully reuniting.
